Welcome to St Marks !(click on the picture to get to St Marks) Hello and welcome to St Marks. St Marks is a small island located just off of the Florida coastline. There is only one pier connecting this island to Florida. St Marks is a small island that offers many new and exciting things to the tourists. Of course, there are also a lot of locals who stay all year round, but every so often there will be a new batch of tourists that bring a whole lot more drama and exciting news to the locals.
St Marks has a very unique past. St Marks has been around for one hundred years and is currently celebrating it's one hundredth birthday. About fifty years ago, there was a murder that occurred at the lighthouse. Nobody knows for sure, but rumour has it that the lighthouse is haunted by the victim. Unfortunately this is not the only murder that has happened on St Marks, but hopefully the local police force will be able to catch the criminals that have already dumped two bodies on this island. There is a lot of small town drama on this island, since everyone ends up knowing about everyone else. The island remains open for the whole year, considering the "winter" months do not bring any snow to this tropical island. Because of this, there is a small school located on the island, but it only covers up to the end of high school. If any local chooses to continue on to university or college, they would have to move to Florida (which is only a ten minute drive away).
St Marks is a brand new role playing site. We are in need of members, and potential moderators (once we start filling up). St Marks is rated mature, so only people aged 13 and up may join. St Marks is set in the current year of 2011. St Marks is about ordinary people, there are no people with different "magical" abilities allowed (example: x-ray vision). If you have any questions, feel free to ask away in the out of character c-box on the left hand side of the site. We offer many, many different boards for people to post in.
Anyone is welcome to come and visit this small town island, but are you willing to stay? The choice is up to you. Come see what St Marks has in store for you today!
